I have made a lot of mistakes in life, but launching & leading The Courageous Church is not one of them!  We are a brand new, exciting, diverse community of faith right in the heart of downtown Atlanta.  The best way for you to learn more about us is to check us out @ Courageous.tv, but let me tell you a few quick tidbits about us!

  • We are brand new!  We just had our Grand Opening on January 11th, 2009 and you can check some videos out from the Grand Opening here!
  • We are a city church.  I live in the city and our church is smack in the middle of downtown Atlanta.  Get directions & details about when and where we meet here.
  • We are not contained by 4 walls and work hard for people to see us in the streets!  See the videos below for proof!
  • I am often called the Facebook Pastor because of how much our church uses social technology.

Here are four of my favorite videos of some of our work!

This is so exciting for many reasons. My name Is Cornelia Brown I am the author of the new book "Black and white makes brown" and I am a speaker about multiracial/interracial issues in the community. I have been looking for a church home to suggest for my oldest daughter Michelle Brown. She is a 29 year old beautiful young lady and moved to Buckhead about 4 yrs ago. She used to go to church with our family all the time but somewhat lost her way once she moved down town. She now once again looking to grow closer to God and I can't wait to tell her about you and your church family. Thank you for allowing us to rejoice with you. God bless you Cornelia Brown

Hi! I just received an email that read "Urgent" and saying that we should really be in service this Sunday. The problem is that I moved out of state this summer so I can't be there. I would love to hear the message. I know that the website has a .tv ending, but is there actually a way that I can see the message somewhere?

I think it is great you are sending tents to Haiti – there is a Christian Org – Core Alliance – here in Houston that is building modular homes to send to Haiti – they are turning out 10 an hr with volunteers – maybe you could contact them and join in with them? The houses are small but withstand hurricanes and other weather and are free – people have donated time and materials

I have emailed my idea (perhaps others have thought of it already) to 5 other charities. None have responded. I also got the promise from a San Diego County Waste Management Rep. that my idea would be bumped up the corporate ladder. Also, no reponse. HOW CAN WE GET SHIPLOADS OF EMPTY CARGO CONTAINERS TO HAITI FOR LIVING QUARTERS THAT WILL WARD OFF STORMS AND HURRICANES? I believe some port cities are full of the things. These would make adequate shelters until permanant housing is constructed. Time is wastin' . Let me know if this is on the list of uses for donated $$.

I sent a tent for AHomeInHaiti and it was received by the church on April 22nd. (It was tracked by Amazon).
I need something for my taxes.
Can you lead me in the right direction.
Thank you.
