Starting on May 1st, our church is making a very radical shift and I want to invite you to be a part of it. On this Sunday (Easter), we will be celebrating all that God has done for us and asking you to join God’s radical work on Earth.
I detail what this shift will look like directly on this previous post.
In essence, we are shifting a huge percentage of our time, energy, skills, and resources away from Sunday morning services to addressing emergency causes in Atlanta and around the world that break God’s heart. A huge part of our motivation is James 1:27 where we learn that “Authentic faith in the eyes of God is caring for widows and orphans.”
The 3 initial causes that we will be addressing are listed below. We are asking that each of you take a week to pray and prepare to choose a cause as soon as this Sunday morning.
