Good Evening!
First off, let me thank all of you that have given supplies, been at the church office receiving them, and those of you that have already traveled ahead of us to Alabama. You are my heroes! I just got back late tonight from working in Florida this week and it completely overwhelmed my heart to see you all BEING the church without me!
Special thank you to Jinean Robinson, Jason Woody, Wil Mabon, and Phillip Rogers who are now in Alabama roughing it. Please pray for them.
I want to give you some final details about our trip there tomorrow and encourage you ONE MORE TIME to make the trip with us.
We are sponsoring a HUGE lunch and fun time for kids/families affected by the tornadoes tomorrow and we could really use your full financial support now to cover the costs. We also will not be receiving an offering tomorrow so please take a moment to give your best tithe or offering here.
Things to Know Now
- You do not have to be a part of Courageous Church or even be a Christian to join us on this trip
- We’d like for you to meet us @ the Courageous Office @ 5:30am.
- We will depart Alabama between 4pm-6pm.
- You can dress casually & comfortably
- You can park your car @ Courageous and we can figure out carpools once you get there.
- We can help you with gas money if we need to.
- We need you to load some items into your car.

- While I’d prefer for you to meet us @ the church since we need your help with supplies and carpooling, you can go to the address above directly if you need to, ok?
- Kids are welcomed and encouraged to come
- We have ways that everybody can help from serving food to cleaning up to simply being a fresh friendly face and a person to talk to during a hard time
Things to Know Once We Get to Alabama
- I would like for you to attend a church service with me with Bethel Baptist Church. Their entire church campus was destroyed and we want to be there to support them. The service begins @ 10am @ Fair Park Arena.
- After the church service you will have the option of helping to serve lunch that we have catered and help facilitate fun and games with the kids there or…
- You can also go to the areas of Pratt City & Alberta City to help families in need there.
- If you are bringing supplies, our Courageous Team will tell us where to take them once we arrive.
