I feel Optimistic. Any progress is great progress to me. Most people would to say "well, he hasn't done this or accomplished that." ... but what about what he has done. It takes time to change the situation that the world is in.

President Obama came into presidency when the world was a mess. In fact, he was the first president in a long time to enter presidency when the world was in the state that it's in. Therefore, I personally feel Optimistic.

The Church is doing it. One small example of what I mean: <a href="http://byfaithonline.com/page/in-the-world/while-congress-talks-grace-pres-tackles-health-care" target="_blank">http://byfaithonline.com/page/in-the-world/while-...</a>
The Church has stepped up, it just needs to step up more.

The greed you refer I'm sure is the issue in some cases, but hardly the norm in any business large or small. Only God knows the heart. The question is where does this behavior and politicians need for more power come from? It comes from sin and a distorted worldview.

We should focus on the deeper issues of where the worldviews of our culture are taking us. That road has reaped a growing focus on self and moral relativism.

I'm not a Republican. I support neither party. Please don't assume.

There are plenty of polls that show what I wrote is accurate. And some that show it is inaccurate.

So let's ignore all polls that support or oppose our viewpoint then.

The Church has had over 200 years to step up in this area...as have other "charity" organizations. It hasn't happened.
I agree that insurance companies are businesses and need to survive, But they must stop the greed at the top and adapt to serving more customers more equitibly.

I beg to differ with you. As Americans, we have many rights that are not God given, but given by our American government, and could be taken away by man. The right to bear arms, the right to vote, the right to remain silent, etc. I could go on and on, but you get my drift. God gives us the gift of life, and a heart and soul with which to love and serve Him. Using these gifts wisely, in accordance with is Word, is our job on this earth. The Sermon on the Mount pretty well explains what we are to do.

I posted this on Monday:
Reasons I love this bill:

 1. People can get help that need help
 2. I can stay on my parents health insurance for a couple more years. Which in effect can be a negative thing (see this tweet and reasons why I do not like this bill number 3)
 3. Canada cannot make fun of us anymore
 4. Being a Women no longer means that you have a pre-existing medical condition (ask Nancy about that one)
 5. We are sticking it to the man (the insurance companies. except for they will just stick it back and raise insurance rates)

Reasons I DO NOT love this bill:

 1. Premiums rise out of control
 2. The issue is still not fixed
 3. I will not be getting married until I am 26 now because of the ability to stay on my parents insurance
 4. We will run out of doctors
 5. The ER will be flooded with people who have a cough (okay that might be a stretch)

Here is the post:
<a href="http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com/cspan-ratings-and-fear-hit-the-roof/" target="_blank">http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com/cspan-ratings-and...</a>

USA Today: "By 49%-40%, those polled say it was "a good thing" rather than a bad one that Congress passed the bill." But like you say, there is room for error. Yes, it is roughly evenly split.
