First things first – THANK YOU for stepping up to help us pack and organize our last shipment of tents to Haiti. If you can, bring people with you. Even one more person would make a difference.
We will meet tomorrow @ 14th Street Self Storage @ 8am. This is right across the new 14th Street Bridge near Spring Street in Midtown Atlanta.
Here is the address:
151 14th Street NW
Atlanta, GA 30318
While there, I expect us to work for many hours unloading thousands of tents from 3 different storage rooms onto at least two 26 foot trucks. After we load every single tent on to the trucks, we will need to take the tents to a warehouse at Victory World Church @ 5995 Financial Drive, Norcross, GA 30071
When we get there, we have to unload the tents. After unloading the tents, we need to put them on about 20-25 pallets and then very tightly shrink wrap them.
This will be the end of our job. Later they will be picked up and shipped to Haiti.
I tell you all of these things because I will not be able to be with you all day and some of you will need to step up and be leaders.
If you have questions, email me @ ShaunKing@courageous.tv AND Broderick Santiago @ BroderickSantiago@courageous.tv
You may also call Broderick @ 678.862.3100 if you have pressing questions.
Bring your own water (and snacks and food if you can). Dress lightly and prepare to give it your all.
Love y’all!
Shaun

A great breakthrough just came through and we have to get 3,000 tents out of our storage, into moving trucks, take them from downtown Atlanta to the suburbs, put them on pallets, shrink wrap them, then pray over them before they get sent to Haiti THIS FRIDAY!
This is OUR LARGEST AND FINAL SHIPMENT OF TENTS from aHomeInHaiti.org – we’re not giving up on Haiti! After this final shipment we are moving to permanent homes, schools, churches, and more!
However, we need your help now. This shipping opportunity is with our friends @ Northwest Haiti Christian Mission and came up on us quickly – which is a good thing.

Argued with my wife this morning.
I know. I wasn’t supposed to tell you that.
I am only supposed to tell you when we kiss, have hot dates, and give each other presents. I am only supposed to tell you about our vacations, when we get our debts paid off, and what we did for each others birthday.
However, my marriage buy-cheap-viagra-online-uk has highs and lows. Ups and downs. Sometimes we are SUPER affectionate and loving and other times we honestly want our own space. I always love my wife and I’m pretty sure she always loves me, but sometimes ….(WARNING. I am about to be real….)
we don’t like each other.
The thing is – this is actually rather normal, but you would never know that if you read tweets or Facebook updates about marriage or if you watched the misc. sitcom with married folk. The tweets between married couples ALWAYS show a united FRONT (pun intended).
Let
cialis new viagra
me tell you why this is a problem. In the past year I have seen SOOOO MANY couples get a divorce with NO infidelity,
buy-cheap-viagra-online-uk
no abuse, no major money issues. I know more couples that are considering divorce with the same conditions.
They just don’t get along and because they think a NORMAL MARRIAGE means you are supposed to always be happy and always get along and because this seems like an impossible reality for them they then think something is wrong with their marriage.
They say things like, “I married the wrong person” or “We should have never gotten married in the first place” because their marriage doesn’t quite fit the mold of what they think it should be fitting.
Hear my heart – you should have happiness in your marriage, but you WILL NOT be happy all of the time. That’s not real life. Some days it’s sunny. Some days it’s cloudy. Some buy-cheap-viagra-online-uk days are
canada meds viagra
warm and some are cold. We don’t GIVE UP on living just because we don’t like the weather.
Today is a tough day for my marriage. Not that tough. Not TOP 10 worst moments rough, buy-cheap-viagra-online-uk but uncomfortable. Tomorrow (or maybe tonight) things will be better.
I just want you to hear from somebody you know and respect that my marriage isn’t like The Cosby Show, but it’s still NORMAL – arguments and all.
Stay married. Push through your problems.
Be Courageous!

Last year @ Courageous Church one of the most popular messages series we did all year was our ASK ANYTHING series where for 3 weeks I took time out to answer every tough, challenging, hilarious, sincere question about life, the bible, sex, drugs, God, faith that people had.
It was certainly an exciting challenge for me and I am amped that we are DOING IT AGAIN starting this Sunday morning!
However, we NEED MORE QUESTIONS. Ask anything here and feel free to stay anonymous if you need to!
Ask away!
(Mom – if you’re reading this – I’m sorry. You might wanna come back tomorrow and read something else)
Besides making you horny and causing you to want to masturbate, porn very honestly has NO redemptive qualities. Truthfully, it can really set you back.
Me and all of my high school and college buddies watched A LOT of porn growing up. Almost none of us had dads and pretty much learned everything we knew about sex from movies titled things like BIG, CHOCOLATE BOOTY CHEERLEADERS - Part 17. I literally had ZERO conversations about sex with one caring adult my entire life. I filled that

void with

porn and Snoop Dog. For real. That’s not a good thing.
What took me no time to learn has taken me many, many years and prayers to free myself from. Let me tell you 3 quick thoughts that helped me and then share an awesome resource with you. I’m also willing to answer your questions if you have any.
1. Porn is fake. The stars are acting and fronting. The noises they make are fake and exaggerated. The smiles are fake. The happiness is fake. The relationships are fake. They don’t like the positions they are using. It’s all fake. They are on a movie set and get paid for their performances.
If you base your sex life on porn you are basing it on something fake. This is not a good idea. When I accepted that porn was fake, it removed the excitement from watching it some, but mainly ruined my lame excuse for saying I was watching it to learn how to have good sex.
2. Porn is very unhealthy for order herbal viagra
its stars. As you could just imagine, it is very, very difficult for men and women in porn to maintain any healthy relationships or marriages. Sex was not designed to be a commodity for sale and when it is sold it warps the sexuality of its participants.
When you watch porn, whether it is free or you buy it, you are supporting the unhealthy choices of its stars. Most of the women in porn wanted to be models or movie stars and found themselves doing that instead. I don’t feel comfortable with this idea myself. Our demand for it is directly tied to the supply of it. The more we demand, the more it is supplied and the more unhealthy men and women we have.
3. Porn is lazy and selfish. Whether you are single or married, watching porn and masturbating is the easy, lazy, selfish option to take. Let me tell you what I mean by this…
The desire to have sex causes men and women to live a certain way. For instance, if I want to have great sex with my wife, I will generally treat her awesome all day long. I will flirt with her. I will be extra complimentary and affectionate.
Beyond the fact that they don’t do this in porn, when you watch porn and masturbate, it is going zap or at least lessen the desire for sex with your spouse in a way that you will now deny yourself (and your spouse) the fun, fulfilling lead up to sex. You got yours so now you no longer put the energy into pursuing your spouse. This is lazy and selfish. Furthermore, it will absolutely make your spouse feel small. Generally speaking, if you have to hide that you are doing it, it’s not a good idea.
If you are single and get a good portion of your sexual fulfillment from porn and masturbation, your primal desire to look, smell, and sound appealing to the opposite sex is, at best warped or lessened. I’m not saying the only reason men or women need to look, smell, and sound appealing is to have sex, but doggone it, it’s part of it. God actually placed it in us.
Porn and masturbation gets in the way of this very basic idea.
Feel free to leave your comments or questions. I really hope you will check out the event below.

Hey!
Will YOU be able to serve @ Courageous Church this Sunday?
Our growth has outpaced our volunteers and we not only need your hands and heart, but I honestly think serving God is going to change your life! I don’t care if your life is a mess, if you don’t think you’re ready, if you are brand new, or if you have no idea what to do or where to start, NOW IS THE TIME!
My prayer is that you would consider attending one service and serving during one service every Sunday you are in town. We put a great free breakfast right there in the middle just for you. We need help right away with:

If you are not already serving and are available this Sunday to help, please email me @ shaunking@courageous.tv NOW and I’ll point you in the right direction personally!

On Saturday my family is adopting Mae. She is a cutie. Our family cannot “afford” a dog, but we also didn’t want to let the kids grow up and never have one. We’ve been saying we couldn’t “afford” one for the past 8 years. I know it is an expense, but I think it will be worth it for the family.
Tell me all of your tips & secrets & stories.
- How did you house train your dog?
- Where does your dog sleep?
- What does your dog eat?
- What are your favorite products?
- Do you have insurance?
- Do you have that PetSmart Care plan?
- When do you leave your puppy @ home? Where?

On this past Sunday I continued our news series @ Courageous Church called “Fundamentals: The X’s & O’s of Christianity”. After preaching about salvation, 9 brave men and women came forward to be baptized right there on the spot in their street clothes. It was a beautiful, wet mess. I loved it! With the help of my friend Pete Hise and my friends @ Quest Community Church, I included 5 Marks of a Genuinely Converted Person.
Many people asked for the notes. Click for them below! The podcast will be up soon!

Hey Courageous Fam!
I’m in my office about to start a pre-marital counseling session and wanted to tell you three quick things.
1. Parking is in the same location we always park. Park there and walk across the street to Center Stage.
2. Tomorrow is going to be huge and we could really use your help. If you could arrive at around 8am to help us set up for the Easter Egg Hunt, prepare the facility, and more I would really appreciate it! Around 600 kids registered for the Easter Egg Hunt and we will have hundreds of new visitors. The hunt begins @ 9am and the service starts @ 10am.
Like it or not, you are now a Courageous Church insider and not a visitor :-)
3. We DO NOT need any volunteers today (Saturday). We packed all of the eggs and passed out all of the fliers. If you were going to come today, just plan on really helping tomorrow.
Love you all. Selfish request - pray for me as I make final preparations for tomorrow.

We call today – Good Friday. That name is so peculiar to me because it is good for us, but it was amazingly painful and brutal for Jesus. He was beaten, battered, and ultimately executed.
Good Friday also probably has a much different meaning for people in less privileged places around the world. In the United States – a Good Friday means dinner and a movie, but in Haiti – imagine what tonight will feel like.
Tonight, I am leading the newest members of Courageous Church through what I believe will be a transforming experience. They have gone through a trying, somewhat messy process of self-discovery over the past few months that culminates in our time together tonight. With nothing but the clothes on our backs we are traveling into what may be one of the most impoverished neighborhoods in the country. It’s not as bad as Haiti, but it is as close as it gets in Atlanta.
Once there, with tarps, we will set up a camp and spend the night. We are not there to tell the neighborhood about Jesus (of course we will if we get the chance), but we are there to get to know each other, confront our own fears, and get just a small glimpse of what it must feel like to be in Haiti right now. No tents. Few basic supplies. Unfamiliar people. Uncomfortable. Unsafe.
Many media outlets told me that we could get great coverage for this event, but I decided against it. Tonight – it is about remembering what Jesus did for us, remembering what our Haitian family is encountering, and setting our minds and hearts on them.
In the future we may use this type of event around the country to show our solidarity with Haiti. Stay tuned.
In the meantime, pray for our safety tonight and pray that God works something special in our hearts.

Just received a very nice email from a parent asking if her Muslim children would feel welcome @ our Easter Egg Hunt and service this coming Sunday morning. I said yes.
However, I would love to hear from you what you think being welcoming to people from other faiths means?
Let’s talk.
Hey My Friend!
Today is a big day for us and we hope this means it is a big day for Haiti! We just relaunched aHomeInHaiti.org with new videos (including one from actress Eva Longoria), new partners, new tents, and much more! On our website, we have now sent $500,000 buy-cheap-viagra-online-uk of tents to Haiti! That is more than all but three COUNTRIES! How amazing is that???
Please check it out, call your friends, text them, tweet it, Facebook it, email it, scream it, pray about it! For real! Let’s push hard for Haiti as the
buy-cheap-viagra-online-uk
hurricane season
buy-cheap-viagra-online-uk approaches!
Be the solution!
If you can buy a tent that would be awesome! We also just received a $25,000 matching grant to provide housing solutions to deaf children in Haiti and will begin a push soon to knock out our end! You can give directly on the website!
Thank you!
Go now to aHomeInHaiti.org!
Be Courageous!
We just received the news yesterday that aHomeInHaiti.org received a $25,000 matching grant to provide housing solutions for deaf children in Haiti. It is my hope to raise the matching $25,000 by Easter Sunday. We decided to offer our entire Easter Sunday offering to this cause, but will still need your help. Here are some details!
The grant is from our friends @ the Haiti Renewal Fund (THANK YOU!)
We will be helping deaf & deaf/blind students @ Institut Monfort School for the Deaf in Port au Prince.
We will be providing emergency tents and will use this as our first Phase 2 Project to also provide long term, sustainable housing solutions as well.
Our team in Haiti and friends on the ground are preparing the way for us now.
We hope to complete this project in April and I will be flying to Haiti to help supervise it.
Prepare to be shocked at what we accomplish with $50,000!
If you can donate $5 or the entire $25,000, please do so as soon as you can @ aHomeInHaiti.org and spread the word!
For the past few months and for the next few months, my middle name is TENTS. Through aHomeInHaiti.org we have now provided more tents than nearly any other relief organization or country in the world. With the hurricane season coming in a month, long term solutions cannot come fast enough and more tents are needed.
However, we are making plans for phases 2 & 3 of our project and need your help.
Find me every article and image and link you can about innovative, sustainable, long term housing solutions in Haiti and post them in the comments section. When possible add buy-cheap-viagra-online-uk some contact information for the provider too.
