I have to take a minute to say that your heart for people never ceases to amaze me. Not only do you talk the talk, but you WALK THE WALK. Your passion is humbling. Having lived through Hurricane Katrina AND Hurricane Gustav, I know first hand what this type of devestation is like and my heart aches for the people of Atlanta right now. People are hurting in ways right now that is almost impossible to imagine. If it were at all possible, I would be in my car, right now, driving to Atlanta to volunteer with relief efforts just like I did at HPC after the storms wreaked havoc here. . It is in times like these that we, as Christians and followers of Jesus Christ, are called to action. THIS IS WHAT WE ARE CALLED TO DO. TO BE THE HANDS AND FEET OF JESUS.

I will be making a monetary donation in just a moment. Please know that while I am physically here in the Baton Rouge area, I am with you, Courageous Church and the beautiful people of Atlanta in spirit.
