Hey Everybody!
Tonight is the last of 7 days & nights of SERVOLUTION! It’s been awesome. We have a slight change for tonight for our Strip Club Outreach (meeting @ 6pm and not 8pm…more details below) and we still need more men for security/prayer and women to help for ministry!
We believe going earlier, when it’s not as busy, would give us more of an opportunity to speak with the women. This is a very unpredictable outreach. We may or may not be able to hand out the flowers and do what we want to do (clean up, pray, leave notes, etc.), but our women are excited to bless and encourage the women there even if it is just through prayer in the parking lot. Come prepared to pay admission to the club ($10-$20). Also, come with an open mind and a willingness to be flexible.
Just as a reminder, be sure to look over the training tips on www.beautyfromashes.org prior to meeting tonight. Click on tab to the left that says “Training and Tools” Scroll down to the link “Updated Strip Club Outreaches” located just below the pictures. These tips will help us as we interact with the women.
Remember – the women are doing the actual direct ministry and the men will provide some security and prayer…in the parking lot!

This is awesome Shaun! The church being the church – loving those others wont. I want to know how this goes. I have several ministries I would like to connect you with that are doing these types of outreaches weekly in ATL. Keep on loving people and let me know how this goes.

Last night was an awesome night of God at Atlanta strip clubs. With such an unpredictable outreach, God amazingly opened doors only He can, that resulted in ministering in love to over 35 strippers, patrons, support staff and club owners. Upon entering some of the clubs there was hesitation by staff, but God worked in their spirits to the point where people were hugging at our departure and owners inviting the Courageous team back (crazy, right!) . Filled too during our time–excitement among the Courageous crew upon regrouping at end of the night was uncontainable and bubbling over. Great job ladies for a nonjudgmental non-preachy love and thank you fellas for holding it down with prayer in the lot. And most importantly thank you Father for using us imperfect people and making the night as perfect as can be!

This was one of the most awesome experiences that I have ever had! I promise you that this outreach changed my life. The reaction on the faces of the women when they realized that someone loved them just as they were, was priceless. It is good for everyone to be reminded that they are loved for who they are not what they can do, but these women especially took it to heart! I will never forget the ladies that I met and I can't wait to do this again! I am excited about what God is doing and I can't believe that he would use my silly self to do it!

I once worked in the clubs and the Lord Jesus delivered me in a mighty way.
I became homeless and had nowhere to go, as well as no hope. I was either going to try to kill myself or the baby. I found someone who would help me end the pregnancy.
I want to say thank you for all that you do and I would hope that you would get my book. I think it will be a great inspiration to someone who may be just like I was. I am now a speaker, as well as an Elementary Behavior Specialist, who will graduate with her Master’s in Education in May. What you do makes a difference.
