Confession: I have an awesome MP3 player that doesn’t have ONE SONG on it.  I’ve had it for a few years and all I really listen to is audiobooks.  I’m really a nerd that pretends to be a cool guy :-)

The thing is, though, an audio book from my favorite author, no matter how well-read, can’t really get me pumped up before a high pressure moment.  I have my MP3 player charged up and ready to download 10 tracks that are high energy, get ready for war type of songs.  Help me with some good suggestions.

What song always gets you amped?

OK, this is totally different but it has lots of energy: Firebird by Stravinsky. No words, not Christian, just classical music.

2pac "Violent". I've never heard it edited but I think I'd rather not.
Really i would suggest to all a track from an old Common Sense with prior to Knarls Barkley Cee-lo that speaks universal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZNnA3vy_2k

Hi, this is Pablo from Spain. I just found your blog by luck so reading something here and there I think I know this can be very interesting for you and anybody willing to fill their live with even some more love.

I recommend you then the artist "Nneka", and not only one song, but the hole "To and Fro" 3CDs recopilatory in which you could really find some of the knowledge this fragile looking but strong girl has to share. An updated point of view in your world of today, our society,a true and honest testimony, through the eyes of a nigerian-german joung woman. This is not music, it's live itself. Check it out yo!!!

Hope you enjoy.
