Hey Family! I'm going to blog more later tonight after our launch team gathering, but I want to take a quick moment to ask for your prayer. I don't know if folk still talk about prayer warriors anymore, but we need some! I'm praying, but I would feel even more confident if I knew you were praying too. Here are some things we have going on:
- My wife is about 6 months pregnant and will still be working for the next month and a half. Please pray for her well-being, peace of mind, the health of our baby girl, and the stability of our family.
- I have TWO (maybe three),VERY BIG, unexpected proposals in front of me. Everything that's good is not God and I need an added dose of divine wisdom and discernment over the next 10 days.
- Over the next 10 days we have: 1) A Launch Team Gathering Tonight, 2) I have a VERY IMPORTANT meeting the first thing tomorrow morning that could change the entire trajectory of our church if everything comes together, 3) We have a HUGE event on the campus of Morehouse College next Saturday where we expect to reach 1000's of people, 4) We could be hosting an event in early November that would reach over 2,500 people and get significant national exposure and we will be finalizing the details for this event later this week.
- We are signing contracts, raising money, asking for donations, making purchases, and completing other business transactions and we need every single transaction to honor God and be the best deal available.
Will you pray for these things? Thanks a ton!

Just a short story on the prayer warriors.
I wasn’t aware they existed anymore either, but I was proven wrong this week. I am the recruitment coordinator for the choir out our church and upon showing up for practice on Thursday, I noticed one of our choir members sitting in the sanctuary, apparently sleeping. I thought this was odd, but it turns out that she has a lung condition that is preventing her from singing as much as is required for the choir. So, she has taken on the roll of PRAYER WARRIOR. She prays, in different places, over different people, about different things at each choir and praise team practice now. I’m not ashamed to tell ya, it’s the best practice we’ve ever had. AND
There she was this morning, before any of us showed up, praying over the sanctuary and lemme tell ya, it made a difference. It’s something you can feel!!
That was a long way to tell ya that I will be praying for every aspect of the launch and will have many others doing the same. Let God’s Will be done in the ATL with the Courageous Church!!
Not only do prayer warriors still exsist, God has called appointed, and annointed folks to pray and intercede in a very focused and targeted way. That is their ministry, that’s who they BE! I know this because I am one of those people. God has charged me to pray for leadership of the church, not only those with titles, pastor, prophet, etc but those who lead from the back, and even those who don’t know or have yet to embrace their leadership call. These intercessors receive revalation knowledge and wisdom from God regarding the what and who to pray for. Sometimes we think we need prayer for thing A, when what we really need is prayer for some underlyng issue (B) that if addressed and presented to Jesus makes thing A not even an issue.
Man, I’m so proud to see you going forward in the Gospel to make the world better. I’m praying that you and yours stay happy and healthy, and that you move with continued wisdom and courage. Not only will you get over the hump of the next few days and months, but “eyes have not seen and ears have not heard” what God will do through you over the course of your ministry. Looking forward to more good reports!

Its funny. I talk about you all to my family all the time. During the process for Pastor I had 6 women who prayed for me each week about specific prayer request. It made all the difference in the world. They are still my prayer warriors because as you know the enemy fights even harder once you are in the trenches. Your family and your team continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. I wish I could do more, but at this time prayer is all I can offer.
