When Your Spouse Reads Your Blog…

I love that wifey reads my blog.  Like a big kid, I ask her daily if she has checked it out.  I await anxiously for her praise of how good of a writer I am and how cool she thinks my blog is.

Then, like a Wanderlei Silva uppercut upside Keith Jardine’s head (UFC 84 reference), she finds an inaccuracy and says, "SHAUN, why did you suggest that we don’t have food to feed these kids?"

I then say, "Did I say that? Uh, uh, uh (stuttering) I meant that as a figure of speech." 

She then says, "Tell those people that read your blog that we have food."

I say, head held down, "Yes Ma’am."

NOTE TO ALL OF MY BELOVED BLOG READERS – The King Team has plenty of food.
