OK. Even though my grill is not this doggone cool (I wish it was), the cookout that my wife and I are hosting next Saturday is going to be even cooler (and busier) than the lame event this dude is hosting.
Haha. For real though, my wife and I are hosting a cookout at our home in downtown Atlanta on Saturday, May 3rd @ 2pm. Everybody is welcome – kids, friends, family – heck even pets if they are small and house trained! Let me give you a taste of the menu and some relevant details.
The Menu Will Have:
-Beef burgers, Turkey Burgers, and a Few Veggie Burgers
-Steaks
-Ribs
-Grilled Chicken Breasts & Wings
-Grilled Salmon (This is only for those of you that I really like…Salmon is expensive – haha)
-All beef hotdogs, turkey hotdogs, smoked sausage
-Maybe a few other surprises
-Plenty of summertime side dishes – including some vegetarian options
-Desserts will be determined in the days ahead
In addition to the good food, we are going to have a ton of games going on, will have the Wii going on for the kids, the swimming pool
will likely be open and can be viewed from our house, and we will
definitely have some good discussions and debates raging as well.

than anything else, Rai and I want to use this time to thank many of
you for your support of us across the years and we want to reveal some
details about our upcoming church plant in downtown Atlanta that will
be launching in late ’08. We’ll be sharing some key details about our
plans and will take up an offering (just kidding…I think)!
